Best Western – Fairmont
The nominations for 4 Under 40 for 2025 will be available starting April 1.
Who can I nominate?
The criteria to be nominated is very simple. An individual must live or work in Martin county and be under the age of 40 at the time of the event. Anyone is eligible to nominate one or more people who fit the criteria.
What if I don’t know everything on the nomination form?
You may want to reach out to others that know the person you are nominating to help fill in the information you don’t know or help add to what you know. The selection committee likes to have as much information as possible to help make their decision.
What is expected of the individual I nominate if they are selected as an honoree?
Typically the expectations include participating in a pre-event photo shoot, being interviewed by local and area media, providing a biography, and attending the event.
Who selects the honorees?
Each year a selection committee made up of past honorees as well as business and committee leaders come together to review the nominations and select four individuals to represent the upcoming class.
Who does the program benefit?
Each year thousands of youth in our area are benefiting from the funds raised through various events which now includes 4 Under 40. It provides important revenue to maintain the programs in Martin County which are developing tomorrow’s leaders through activities that bring fun, excitement, and time with friends while really learning self-reliance, teamwork, self-esteem and determination. Raised funds give youth in the area the opportunity to participate in programs like Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, National Youth Leadership Training, Venturing, Exploring, and ScoutReach. Not only does this award raise funds for important programs, but it also recognizes truly remarkable people serving our community.
