“Curse of Wendigo”
GOLD! For centuries people have come to the Klondike in search of these shiny rocks that have the power to turn ordinary men and women into kings and emperors. This almost supernatural metal never corrodes and yet it completely corrupts souls.
The folklore of the Native Americans tells of something else that lives in these frozen woods. A curse that hangs over these trees and lakes. The Wendigo hunt these woods, eating anything they can. They can find no rest, and no food can satisfy them. They are the incarnation of winter, the embodiment of hunger, and the personification of selfishness.
To get the gold you will have to overcome challenges using your Scouting skills: pioneering, knot tying, orienteering, use of GPS, fire making, first aid, marksmanship, cooking and winter survival.
If you come here, you will be challenged by nature itself. What will you find in these woods? Will it be fame, glory and treasure? Will you leave with nothing but your life? Or will you stay here forever bearing the curse of the Wendigo?
