Join us at Norseland Scout Camp (Saturday, May 8, 2021) or Cedar Point Scout Camp (Saturday, May 15, 2021) for our Cub Scouts Shooting Sports event.  To Cub Scouts, BB Guns, Archery and Sling Shots are the “best things ever”!

At this event, Cub Scouts learn proper shooting techniques; including eye dominance, shooting shoulder, breathing, sight alignment, trigger squeeze and follow through.  They will learn the importance of safety gear such as glasses, arm guards, and finger tables.  And they will have an amazing time working on their skills while target shooting.

Times at the Norseland Scout Camp event are from 9am-Noon.  Open shooting is from Noon-1pm.  The second session is from 1-4pm.  There is a limit of 50 shooters per session.  All Scouts are invited to bring a friend who may be interested in joining Scouts.  That friend must be accompanied by a parent.

The Cedar Point event location will offer the time slot of 9am-Noon with an open shoot from Noon-1pm.  Again, all Scouts are invited to bring a friend who may be interested in joining Scouts.  That friend must be accompanied by a parent.

Each session is limited to 50 shooters.

Covid-19 Requirements:  All Cub Scouts need to have a signed Parent Permission form (see attachments) at camp. Also, everyone (adults and youth) need to complete parts A&B of the health form and a Release of Liability form to be on Twin Valley Council property. Each participant will also need to wear a facemask and complete a health assessment form on the day of the event.

Lion Cubs (those in kindergarten) will practice their shooting skills at the BB Gun station using Nerf Guns.  Lion Cubs will shoot real arrows at the archery station and participate in the sling shot station.

Registration is open until May 5, 2021 for the Norseland location and until May 12, 2021 for the Cedar Point location.
