The Great Penguin Race
Saturday, February 27, 2021
It’s that time of year again – it’s the Great Penguin Race of 2021! All Cub Scouts are invited to Norseland Scout Camp on Saturday, February 27, 2021, for a day of outdoor wintery fun!
Norseland Scout Camp
$25 per Cub Scout; Adults are free
This year will come with some changes. We’ll be hosting two shorter sessions to help keep our rotation numbers within CDC guidelines. Our first session is from 9am – Noon and the second session is from 1pm – 4pm.
This little change won’t slow down the fun we’ll have! There will be game stations, ice fishing, snow shoes, sledding, crafts, hot chocolate and more!
All participants must come prepared to spend the day outdoors. This means proper winter attire; snow pants, layered socks, boots, mitten/gloves, scarves and hats. Covid-19 face masks will be required as well. This winter wardrobe is for adults and youth alike!
Space is limited for this event. Sessions will host 40 people; that’s adults & Cub Scouts combined. Each Cub Scout needs to attend with one adult from their family. Due to CDC restrictions, this is an event limited to BSA registered Cub Scouts only (no siblings) and one parent per household. If you have two Cub Scouts, two parents are welcome to attend.
This event is back by popular demand so please don’t wait until the last minute to register! It will fill up quickly. Cost for this event is $25 per Cub Scout and adults attend at no cost.

Registration open Friday, January 1, 2021 and will remain open until Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
