Cub Scout Shooting Sports Event

Cub Scout Shooting Sports Event
Saturday, October 10, 2020
Cedar Point Scout Camp
9am – noon with optional open shoot until 1pm
$15 per Cub Scout; limited to 36 Cub Scouts

To a Cub Scout, BB Guns, Archery and Sling Shots are the “best things ever”!

At this event, Cub Scouts learn proper shooting techniques; including eye dominance, shooting shoulder, breathing, sight alignment, trigger squeeze and follow through.  They will learn the importance of safety gear such as glasses, arm guards, and finger tables.  And they will have an amazing time working on their skills while target shooting.

While this course focuses on proper techniques they will have ample time to shoot bb guns, archery and sling shots.  For those wanting more, there will be an open shoot until 1 p.m.

Lion Cubs (those in kindergarten) will practice their shooting skills at the BB gun range using Nerf Guns.  Lion Cubs will shoot real arrows at the archery station, and participate in the sling shot station.

This event is limited to 36 Cub Scouts.  Please use the waitlist feature if needed.  We will do everything we can to get those on the waitlist participating in the event.

All participants must have a signed Parent Consent form submitted at check in.
