Staff Cook

Volunteer Position

The staff cook is responsible to the Business Manager for the operation of the kitchen. The staff cook will run the kitchen in such a manner as to provide adequate meals in relation to the established menu and according to the time schedule and budget as established by the Camp Director.

Duties include:

  • Draw items necessary from the commissary.
  • Be responsible for the safe and sanitary conditions of the kitchen.
  • Prepare, serve and clean up meals with the assistance of staff as assigned by the Camp Director.
  • Participate in all staff meetings, sharing ideas for the continuing improvement of the camp program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Director or Business Manager.
