Commissary Manager

The commissary manager is responsible to the business manager and is in charge of the food distribution for staff and campers.

Duties include:

  • Box and serve foodstuffs, staples and menus to patrols at the times scheduled by the Camp Director.
  • Inform Business Manager of order list prior to need.
  • Monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures and maintain proper storage of perishable foods.
  • Keep up to date inventories and records.
  • Keep commissary and surrounding areas clean, neat and up to state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in all staff meetings, sharing ideas for the continual improvement of camp.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Director.
