2008 Southern Shores Webelos Camp

Hey Webelos! Do you want an exciting weekend of fun, camping, and learning new skills in the great outdoors? Don’t miss this opportunity to spend time outside with your friends and learn the skills you’re going to need at Boy Scout Summer Camp! Southern Shores Webelos Camp is for Cub Scouts graduating from 3rd or 4th grade in June.

Daily Schedule:

Registration from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday
Friday supper served from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Program provided from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 5:00 p.m. Saturday
 

2008 Camp Fees

Registered by May 9 deadline:
$25 per Scout and $10 per adult

Late registration (after May 9):
$35 per Scout and $20 per adult

NO REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 31!

First or second year Webelos are
welcome to attend this camp.

With your on-time registration fee, you and you Scout will receive a commemorative patch, activity materials, Friday Supper, Saturday Breakfast and Lunch, and guaranteed fun!

What should I bring?

    • Snacks, & drink for each day
    • Full Water Bottle
    • Money for trading post
    • Bug Repellant
    • Sun Screen
    • Rain Gear (if necessary)
    • Tennis shoes (No flip-flops or sandals are allowed at camp.)
    • Cub Scout uniform
    • Jacket
    • Extra clothes (in case they get wet.)
    • Flashlight
    • Sleeping bag
    • Sleeping pad or cot
    • Pillow
    • Personal gear
    • Tent

T-shirts

T-shirts available for purchase on registration form.  The registration fee does NOT include a t-shirt.

Meals

Friday supper, Saturday breakfast, and Saturday lunch are included.  Bring your own snacks and drinks.

Leadership

Each Unit must provide 1 leader per 4 Scouts with a minimum of 2 leaders per unit. A parent and son may attend together without additional leadership.

This is a Cub Scout experience only, please.
No siblings or non-Cub Scout youth should attend.

Registration

Contact your Cubmaster or Camp Coordinator to secure registration with your unit.  You must register through your Pack.
