2011 Cub Scout Fun with Son Camps

"Space Adventure"

Fun with Son Camp offers a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with your adult partner. Don’t miss this opportunity to have fun and share a memorable weekend with each other. Fun with Son Camp is for Cub Scouts graduating from Kindergarten through 4th grade by June.

Directions to Edgewater Park:  From Austin west on Hwy-90 to exit 154 (Hwy 13.) Turn left after exit heading south ... go 1/2 mile, will see brown sign saying EDGEWATER PARK, turn left ... follow Edgewater road staying to the right around lake ... go 2 miles park on the hill.

Daily Schedule:

Registration from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday
Friday supper served from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Program provided from 7:00 p.m. Friday to Noon Saturday

Special program provided from end of Day Camp until 5:00 p.m. for Scouts attending both Day Camp and Fun with Son camp.
 

2011 Camp Fees

Registered by May 6 deadline:
$25 per Scout/adult pair ($35 after May 6)

Additional youth with registered adult:
$15 per Scout ($25 after May 6)

NO REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 31!

With your on-time registration fee, you and your son will receive a commemorative patch, activity materials, Friday Supper, Saturday Breakfast, and guaranteed fun!

What should I bring?

    • Snacks, & drink for each day
    • Full Water Bottle
    • Money for trading post
    • Bug Repellant
    • Sun Screen
    • Rain Gear (if necessary)
    • Tennis shoes (No flip-flops or sandals are allowed at camp.)
    • Cub Scout uniform
    • Jacket
    • Extra clothes (in case they get wet.)
    • Flashlight
    • Sleeping bag
    • Sleeping pad or cot
    • Pillow
    • Personal gear
    • Tent

T-shirts available for purchase on registration form.  The registration fee does NOT include a t-shirt.

Meals

Friday supper and Saturday breakfast are included.  Bring your own snacks and drinks.

Leadership

Fun with Son camps require a parent or guardian to attend with the Scout!

This is a Cub Scout experience only, please.
No siblings or non-Cub Scout youth should attend.

Registration

Contact your Cubmaster or Camp Coordinator to secure registration with your unit.  You must register through your Pack.
