Grew up being involved in scouting, when I  joined as a cub scouts.

I was a member of Troop 100 in Shorewood, WI. , in which I have many great memories.

Whitewater canoeing, backpacking, exploring in caves, hiking trips, winter camping and cross country skiing.

Our troop when to a wilderness summer camp (Camp Demmer)  every year at Lafeber Northwoods camp, in WI.

I was the waterfront director for our camp, and was patrol leader, and served in the leadership corp as and

Explorer scout.  I am honored to have earned the highest rank in scouting, the Eagle Scout award.

When my own boy became old enough to join cub scouts, I volunteered to be a Den Leader with Pack 56, Fairmont, MN.

He crossed over to Boy Scout with Troop 56, Fairmont, MN, and I volunteered to be an Assistant Scout Master.

For the last 10 years, I have been activity involved in the troop as Scout Master.

My oldest boy earn his Eagles scout rank, and my youngest son is working to earn his Eagle.

The troop has been growing the last few year, and boys actively enjoy outdoor activities and camping

throughout the year.  All boys enjoy going to summer camp at Cuyuna, and frequently visit Cedar Point camp near Fairmont, MN.
