I started Cub Scouts in Second Grade (which the way it was back then).  I went through the ranks to get my Arrow of Light and cross over to Boy Scouts.  While in Boy Scouts I did a lot of things.  I went to Cuyuna Scout Camp, Philmont Scout Ranch, and BWCA.  I had the honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Arrow.  I moved through the ranks to earn my rank of Eagle.  For my Eagle Scout project, I built signs for the MN DNR.  The signs showed recognition to the organization that participate in the Adopt a River program.  I moved on a was a Junior leader with the troop.  In 1995 I worked at Camp Cuyuna as the Health Officer.  That was a year of storms.  Cuyuna had trees down everywhere.

I moved on in life with other priorities of school, marriage and family.  Once my first born was old enough for Tiger Cubs, we joined.  Now I have two children in Scouts.  I am active in the various council and district committees.

I feel that scouting establishes a strong foundation in a child's development.  This foundation helps them grow into a better person that is well rounded and a good leader.
