Twin Valley Council is proud to announce

Twilight Cub Camp for 2017


Twilight Camp is for any BSA registered Cub Scout

Who?  What?  Where?  When?  Why?

These are the questions that will be answered when the Cub Scouts become
CSI Investigators during Twilight Camp.

Highlights of the camp may include STEM experiences, Nature, Hiking, Scout Skills, Crafts, Advancement, Sports and Games all intertwined within the CSI Investigator theme.

Twilight Camp Date and Location

Each evening Monday, August 7th through Friday, August 11th.  Friday night also offers the opportunity to camp overnight.  All camp sessions are held at Sibley Park   900 Mound Avenue   Mankato, MN.  Camp is held rain or shine.

Registration and Fees

Early registration deadline is May 5, 2017. 
Registration and payment processing are found by clicking the orange box to the right.

  • Cub Scout     $50 and includes a camp T-shirt
  • Adults            Attend free of charge but still must register
  • T-Shirts         Adult and/or additional Youth T-shirts may be ordered during the registration process for an additional $15
  • Friday overnight camping (optional)     $10

Beginning May 6, 2017

  • Cub Scout     $65 (t-shirt not included)
  • Adults            Attend free of charge
  • T-shirts          A limited supply of T-shirts will be available for purchase at camp Trading Post.
  • Friday overnight camping (optional)     $10

Twilight camps begin at 5:30 p.m. each evening with dinner provided.  Programming runs until 8:30 p.m. each evening. 

On Friday evening there is an overnight camping experience that will conclude after breakfast on Saturday.  This camping experience is an optional part of Twilight Camp with an additional $10 fee.

Meals included with Twilight Camp are:

  • Monday - Thursday     Dinner
  • Friday overnight          Dinner and Breakfast
Required Forms

Health Forms

Everyone at camp (youth and adult) must have a medical form.  Parts A and B are to be completed at home and includes a medical history and list of medication taken.

Authorization for a Minor to Handle Firearms

Every Scout must have a signed Firearms Authorization on site in order to participate at the BB Gun range.  Please ensure that a signed form is at camp so your Scout may experience all camp has to offer.

Every Pack will need to provide a walking leader for every five Cub Scouts attending camp  with a minimum of 2 leaders. 

New for 2017 - Both leaders must have taken Youth Protection Training in the last 2 years.

For those camping overnight, a parent/guardian must attend with Cub Scout. 

What To Bring

Items to bring to Twilight Camp each evening include

  • Signed Health Form for Youth and Adult
  • Signed Shooting Sports Permission Form
  • Day Pack
  • Water Bottle
  • Rain Gear
  • Insect Repellent
  • Sun Screen
  • Tennis Shoes - Flip Flops are not allowed at camp!

If you are camping on Friday, you will also need

  • Tent
  • Ground Cover
  • Sleeping Bag or Blanket
  • Pillow
  • Change of clothes
