Welcome to Cuyuna Family Camp!

Twin Valley Council, BSA

Something for the Entire Family!

Cuyuna Scout Camp offers an area just for scouting families. Our family camp area is located on Pickerel Lake where there are row boats, canoes, a paddle boat and a lot of great fishing. There is also a new shower facility with flush toilets.

Family Camp is a great alternative for parents who want to come to camp with their son, but also want to bring siblings.  It is also a great alternative for leaders who want to come to camp, but don't want to "ruff it".  They can either rent a cabin or bring their RV.  Please note, adults that are staying in family camp do not count as "2 deep leadership" when they are in family camp.

When you come, you can just pitch a tent or pull in your camper. There are electrical hook-ups available. Reservations are not needed for the camping area. It is first-come, first-serve, but there is plenty of room for everyone. (You must have an actively BSA register Scout or be BSA registered yourself in order to use family camp).

Cuyuna Family Camp is open year-round. Come for a weekend or come for a week – we would love to see you again!

Family Camp Cabins available

Are you looking for a way to bring the whole family to Cuyuna? All four cabins are available during the normal camping season. Please spread the word, because in years past these cabins were not available during the camping season. This could be a great way to bring the whole family to camp for a week. In addition, it might be a way to get the parents involved who are not thrilled about sleeping out side! Please visit the link below to make your reservations. Cabin rental May 1st - November 1st  is $75.00 per night.  Once we turn off the water of November 2nd the fee drops to $50 per night until April 30th.  Remember, you must be BSA registered to use the Family Camp Cabins.
